Hi Tim, nothing yet but the mail is slow here due to some work related strike or something. I'll let you know when it arrives. Thanks for the update my friend. Stay safe!! It's bloody cold here....
Hey Tim!! Thanks for the update buddy! I hope all is well with you? Any snow yet? We are experiencing some cold weather but still green! It sure makes for better driving. Stay safe and don't take any wodden nickles!!!
Hi there Tim, thank you so much for commenting on profile & photo, not many do that. I answer to your question; the bus driver did not fall asleep. The truck was pulling out of a car yard where they had just replaced a sign, on to the highway. This is an 80 kpm speed limit (not Miles), and remember we drive on the left hand side of the road in Australia, so the driver was situated in the right hand side of the bus. The bus was a town bus and travelling from one town to another which they properly do 8-10 times a day, just before lunch time. The bus came over a slight rise on the highway toward the car yard which has a very clear view, as I travel between these towns quite often.
Bothe the bus driver and the passenger side passenger a young male, were flown to Trauma Centre in Melbourne some 2 hrs by road and 45 minutes by Helicopter. Since then they have returned to our local regional hospital for rehabilitation. How the young passenger did not lose both his legs is beyond me. “That was the short version”.
Please tell me more about St Louis, what you do and your interests?
Now I’ve been to the USA when are you coming to the land of OZ.?
Thanks again for your reply; I have been an FFN member now for over 12 months and it’s nice to have FFN members comment, as not many do. I brows through profiles of FFN members before I select them as a friend, as some are so uninteresting. If you wish you can write to me on my home Email lecar1@bigpond.net.au By the ways love your dogs except the one with the BIG teeth (jocking) Barb and I have to Papillon at home, and love them to bits.
Again; many thanks and Cheers Leo
