Hello Harry, just another little note. Back in December you asked me about our old platform. The people that were going to buy can't come up with the money. So right now anybody can make an offer. the people that were going to buy it were paying $8000. If yur interested I bet your dept could get it for around $5000. They would much rather have it go to a fire department then a private individual. If your interested give me a yell and I'll give you the contact info. Thanks- Mike

hello, just to give you a heads up on the last comment you left me about our mack arial. I just found out today that they are taking bids on it. basically the highest bid gets it. and another heads up as of now it's only at $8000.

Our old Mack is late 1970's 75' platform. The arial has been inspected every year, still in great working order. We just got a deal that we couldn't pass on for a newer 100' platform so now we're looking to sell the old one. We are still working the truck once a month to keep everything in working order on it.

Hey harry, The light tower you saw is run by Dupage County Emergency management. As far as the manufacturer I don't have an answer for you, sorry. The first time I saw it was at that fire.

well this is trevor wendt. i am a jr ff at cambri VFC. i saw your inquiry about what happened. further investigation determined that the wiring harnes was rubbing against the steering column and then all heck broke lose. SO we have about a million bucks worth of damage. thank god we just upgraded to the better insurance policy
