Hey Bobby, I think I know what you are talking about, and I understand how you feel. But remember you are not there for them you are there because you want to help people, So help them and piss on the rest of them. go to calls and go home, don't engauge in conversation. eventually someone will ask what the problem is and you can reem them a new one. But don't quit, you are much to valuable to the people we serve.
If you fell like talking e mail me, i'll send you my phone number and we will yell at each other for a while...

Be Safe and don't quit, Don't give them the satisfaction!

I have to agree and disagree with you here on this one....with what you have posted as the only information available....I agree...there is oftimes way too much gossip going on around the Firehouse....BUT I disagree with what you call Bullshit....to me Bullshit is posting something like this on this site rather than dealing with it in house where it should be dealt with...if this is your idea of problem solving then I would have to say...."OK, bye, nice knowing you..." Wow buddy, um... that doesnt really tell us what is going on but ok... lets start with this... Whatever happened obviously has you super pissed right now but just calm down, sleep on it, and try to relax. You have to think that whatever is bothering you is probably something so miniscule and stupid that is makes absolutly no sense to get all worked up over it. Trust me... there are a couple of guys on my dept. that I would have no problem knocking right to the ground, but have I done it??? Of course not, cuz then its your ass in trouble for starting a fight with the guy.

Take a look back on the good memories you have had on your dept and really try to think how it felt when you first got on. Remember how awesome that was and why you really joined the dept in the 1st place. Once you do, you will want to stick around for a long long time. If if you wanted to quit, I bet you couldn't, once its in your blood; it wont ever leave. Once a FF, always a FF!!!!
