Howdy to all my Brothers and Sisters..Just wanted to write and give a sorta update. All things are pretty much as always we are up an down on being busy, I am still running in-house on a medic crew and run part-paid on call the rest of the time.As soon as our Department approves an agility test for in-house fire on days, I will more than likely take the test and go that direction. Doing so will probably mean I will have to drop the medic shift and possibly the part paid volley at night. My whole thought process is that we recently put a combinantion Engine/Medic crew on 24 hours a day, and I am sure (time frame not sure of) that eventually we will all be in-house, but I am not wanting to wait that long. For me just being around the fire house and working, whether it be on calls or just maintenance an clean up it would keep me busier than I am at the current status. I have been dedicated to working out to stay in shape so as to do my job both as a firefighter and on the medic squad, So if all works out someday I will be working part-time in-house for Washington Twp, and will also work at another Department part-time, and will also attempt to go back to school for medic classes. Well that about it....Just an update so to speak. Everyone be safe, stay hydrated.
