H ey everybody, In a world of passing around a pile of chain letters and such, I am asking everyone who gets this to send it on to every group and friend they have to try and help out a fellow North Carolina Fire Department for me. It takes about 3 minutes of your busy time to read their story, click the VOTE link, and then click the link in your email to confirm the vote.
I am lucky enough to belong to a decently financed department, but I know how hard it is for some departments to have any kind of money. A lot of us in the fire service do this because we just want to help, we volunteer our time, our gas, time away from families, and sometimes we dont make it home. Please dont let an aging truck be the reason that one of my brothers or sisters gets to that great Department in the Sky, We train our butts off, get up all hours of the day and night, and all we ask for is equipment that works when we need it.
Please, pass this along, vote before Friday the 24th at 1 PM, and answer the email to confirm your vote, If you have multiple email addresses, well.. I know I am using all of mine to help them.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey All,
I am not forwarding this to promote E-One or Fire Connections, I am forwarding this to help a poor fire department in the eastern part of NC.
Powellsville VFD in Ahoskie is one of 7 finalists for the E-One Truck Give-Away. This department seems to have a lot of bad luck and has not
been able to raise the funds to purchase a new truck. They thought they would receive a FEMA Grant, but that has also failed them.
Regardless of what brand truck you think is the best (or the worst), we can help a small department obtain a new piece of equipment just by voting
for them. The deadline is Friday, April 24th at 1:00 PM.
Below is their story.

E-One will accept one vote per e-mail account. At one time, Powellsville VFD was in second place. We as firefighters in NC can help one of our less fellow fire department.
Please forward this to your department's member and ask them to vote.
Thank you for your help to assist this department.
