Again thanks to all the emails, notes and comments of encoragement I have gotten from all you out there. It is good to feel the family of fire love when the chips are leaning. I say leaning because Now they are falling to down. The MRI came back with a a tear in my ACL and a still possible tear in my miniscus. I have been referred to a Othro Surgery center for more treatment including most likely ACL surgery. From what I am told even being back on the line for late season So-Cal fires is probably a rapidly fading option. Dis sucks!!!! But What does this teach us all..... I dunno, I was doing what I was susposed to be doing, in the right way, heck I even had running shoes on.(course we did have line gear and chainsaws also but still that shouldnt have done this...) Well I will keep on being a sideline support of my crew and my family of fire, keep doing my abd. and upper body work out at home as best I can and keep you guys apprised! thanks again and again remember Make sure LCES is Working, not jsut in place before we anchor flank and pinch..... Be Safe, and take care all
