I thought I would start a blog so that I can keep those who may be interested in My life as a Firefighter, there is really no direction this Blog is going to take. One day it could be a favorite quote, and the next about a call I went on ... I hope some of you at some time read it and are entertained to say the least ...

Comment by Kevin Hatfield on August 31, 2010 at 3:03pm: After watching an episode of "Firehouse USA: Boston" I saw a quote that I liked, it was on the Memorial it says "We save lives and property. We are not heroes. We do what we love. We do our jobs." as I read it over and over I think it says alot about who we are as Firefighters and as People, I have never and never will I ever think about myself as a hero, I am just a person that wants to help the community and people in a time of need.
