Whoa whoa whoa... did I read that right?

A woman riding as a passenger in Martin’s cruiser at the time has been identified as his wife. West did not know the woman’s name and said having a spouse in a car does not violate OHP policy

Your telling me this cop had his wife in the car with him??? Hes on duty chasing down a stolen vehicle and his wife is in his patrol car with him???!!!! Am I the only one that sees a problem with this?
