It is all subject to intrepretation

With discussions about "Health Care Reform" taking place all over the web, with all the outcries at "hometown meetings", armed people walking around at functions attended by the President, is it any wonder that "We the people" are concerned?

I was am a believer in the Bill of Rights, I do not necessarily align myself with "civil liberties" groups and firms. But an email was forwarded to me with an interpretation of the health care plan supported by the President. As I read this group's interpretation of the bill, I realized that if and when this becomes law, and the right (or wrong) people obtain positions as lawmakers and judges, the original intent of this plan (good or bad) could be destroyed simply because of interpretation.

Can you hear that?
That is all of the college students changing their major from general medicine to architectural engineering.
Wait; there's another noise.
It's someone tellling Barney Frank that we don't want single payer because effectively, everyone will receive the same, crappy care for the same, low price and it will come at the hands of people who bought their Ph.D on the Internet, because all of the good doctors will go elsewhere to practice in a country where the government doesn't control the health care system.
Fix what's broken and leave the rest alone. Period.
TCSS.

That is exactly my point DT.

Things can and are taken out of context. I have not read even half of the proposed bill, but what I have read, doesn't come close to this groups interpretation. However, throughout the history of this country, political action groups have caused changes in the wording and application of laws or statutes which were not part of the original intent.

Interpretation has and will continue to be part of the process based upon who is in a particular office. There is always an ulterior motive with any individual, group, or party regardless of affiliation.
