i love being a vol firefighter
Hey y'all i just wont to post my first blog just saying a few thing about my 4yrs as a vol firefighter its been a great expense for me i seen a lot of bad shit and got a lot of good out of it im 26 and seen shit i don't wish on my worst enmity. did not know how hard it would be till i want to my first big house fire but i will not get in to that we all know what im talking about but it don't matter how along im going to be firefighter i still love the rush when i hear my pager goes off. firefighter Grant Hinson id 725

i agree tones goes out and the heart starts to pump i havent had this much fun since i was a kid we all get excited me its all about the truck nothing better then rideing the big red truck

God bless you for your public service and all FFs everywhere. I for one can't lie and say I don't get excited when I hear the tone. Deep down thou it's about helping those who are asking (dailed 911). VFDs are based on inter-community support and limited funding. Without us Volunteers fire/rescue coverage would be sporadic. I guess if the "job" wasn't exciting we wouldn't to it for free. TCSS
