Fire training in Jan.
I talked to my Asst. Chief yesterday and have decided it's about time for me to now get my fire card. AHHHH!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. I love this work so much! It's my driving force to be the best possible person I can. I've NEVER wanted to or have considered doing anything for as long as I can remember. My mom lovingly recalls a younger diapered version of me running to the windows every time emergency vehicles drive by yelling "Cruck mommy CRUCK!!!" LOL She is scared to death of me getting hurt, but I try explaining. IF something ever should happen at least I'll be in the right place... It kinda eases her mind to think that I'm not alone out there. Usually. LOL

Hi Daniele i wish you the best of luck in your training i remember when i was young that i would run with my father & grand father to the fire station thats when i knew i wanted to be a fireman and now i look at my daughter who just became a member as of 11-6-08 so she is going to her training in the spring and her mother is the same as your mother yes the are scared they are moms my mother still is worried about me i been doing it for 33yrs now just remember be smart on all calls and you will be fine and you always have some one behind you in this field
