your dept. "constitution should have a oath that each member is suppose to take if not check with if you have your fire commissioner or Mayor and council, if all else fails you can easily make one by taking the armed forces oath and tune down to protect and serve the people of your community in a safe diligent way always faithful to the cause and putting life and property before myself in place of to uphold the constitution and its laws and the USA ..so on

one oath all around for all fire members in that department and if you take the fireman's prayer and tweek it to your liking it seamed to suit our department
