Dear Friends of Father Joe:

He’s there with us in the streets – and he’s here for us when we need someone to lean on to share a personal challenge with. He’s a chaplain, a confidant and a friend to all.

Now he needs our help.

Fr. Joe Bayne is the Executive Director of the Franciscan Center – a home and a refuge for young men facing some of life’s toughest obstacles. The Center provides emergency and transitional care, fostering the premise that on-going transformation through goal-setting leads to a re-integration into family life and/or independent living.

Just like us, the Franciscan Center saves lives.

I’m personally asking that you and your fire department or emergency services agency consider supporting the Chicken BBQ and Chinese Auction being hosted by the Elma Volunteer Fire Company with help from the Evans Center Volunteer Fire Company and a dedicated team of friends of Father Joe.

The date is October 14^th from noon until 6pm or until the chicken is sold out – which is likely to happen again this year.

In addition to your attendance, please consider donating a Chinese auction theme basket, large auction items or other appropriate contributions. Please contact Janis McCullough at 716.674.0874 to coordinate your donation or to discuss other ways you can help.

To start, please print, post and distribute this letter and the attached flyer at your station and in your community.
