Well, in three weeks I'll be in Emmitsburg for the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial weekend. We weren't able to get our honor guard set up to go, so I'll be going on my own. Of the three Georgia firefighters being added this year, two of them were friends. It's important to me that I be there.

The down side of it all, is that the guy I had been planning on having as a roommate for the trip to share expenses bailed out on me. I'm still going.

I plan to leave metro-Atlanta on the morning of October 5 and come back on the 8th. I'll be driving. Anybody want to come along to share expenses? I already have a hotel room booked (2 queen beds), and I've got the route planned out to be as easy as possible.

So seriously, anybody want to come along?
