my first novel is called Blood Fire. When an Engine company does not respond to a fire alarm, a battalion chief goes to the firehouse to find out why. When he arrives, he finds that all of the members have been killed. there is no sign of forced entry. The Police have no credible leads. the fire marshal has been asked to stay away from the case, the police can handle it. While dejected the marshal's parting words are "it will take a firefighter to catch a killer of firefighters". eventually he is brought into the case and his team locates as key piece of forensic evidence, but will it be enough to locate the killer before he strikes again?
