Please! Please! I beg you, please stop writing if you can not spell, punctuate or don’t know the meaning of a word. Many of us get on this site and ask for advice. Great, that's what this site is all about. But I can't imagine why anyone would take you seriously or even reply when the dictionary has been butchered and 2nd grade English was completely disregarded. This could be a great site for Firefighters to sound off and gather great information, but we don't need a translator. Maybe I'll write a book "Translating Dummies for Dummies"
For those of you who did not know your computer has a program, PC users look for Microsoft Word, that is used much like a typewriter. The exception, and this is cool so pay attention, it has SPELL CHECK! Yeah, spell check. This is a really neat feature and is kind of new; it’s only been around about 20 years. You can type anything and when you are done you can check your spelling and grammar. Sparing all of us a great big WTF? Once you're done writing you can cut and paste your writings right to this great web site. Whammo! Great spelling and grammar all in one big blog.
I'm not 18 and don't come here to read a text message. I guess I expected too much.

David,
You are actually a well spoken individual. I don't believe the original poster is complaining about a few spelling mistakes so much as an atrocious use of the language that renders some posts virtually unreadable.
Can anyone tell me why the site put a little red line under "renders" up yonder???

Well Dan, although you have stuck a nerve with some folks, I pretty much agree. I am also one of the "Fogie's", and I get frustrated with some of the posts also. I just try to overlook the "oops" portions and find the real issue if I can.
I will also agree with you that; like it or not, if many significant errors are in a single post, the person is taken less seriously.
Will has a good point also - a few mistakes shouldn't eliminate someone from having a good point or something important to say.
What's my point you ask? Try to relax a little, there are several other issues for us to get excited about. Best wishes to you all, stay safe.

brilliant as you are , you misstook my reply,,and i dont care if i misspell a couple of words...anyone who would belittle others for there shortcomings has shortcomings of their own..i sincerely wonder what yours are..HUMM?????

Dan, you may not have noticed, but this very site actually has it's own spell check in the text box as you type. It's pretty handy-dandy.
By the way, I don't understand your last post about lingo either ... an omitted word perhaps?
