I have always loved firefighting, I love the enviroment, the firehouse, the adrenaline. I hung out with the kids who lived in "scanner land" and were just dying when nothing was going on. I had always planned on being a volunteer, but my original career choice was Forensic Psychology, specifically, Criminal Profiling. I took college psych when I was in high school, and I loved it. I also became an explorer at this time and actually got to do training and learn firefighting technique first hand. thats when i decided I wanted to do more than volunteer, I am going to get my paramadic and try to get on a paid department. Now what I want to do specifically is emergency Air-Evac. I am very happy with my choice, I absolutely loved fire academy, I had some incredible teachers and some, not so incredible. But, now i have Mo state FF1 and FF2, emt, and paramedic soon. I can't wait.... But, Im a nerd, I love school....
