Hmmm....

I've never done this before. But what the heck- I'll start now. So I've been pretty excited starting with Flight for Life Colorado. This past week I've spent Mon/Tues at Littleton's Hospital on the OB floor watching deliveries. I'll sum it up with placentas are gross. But one mom delivered twins and that was pretty cool. Then one of my coworkers who's 34wks pregnant came in and that was different. I stayed away, kept some distance but said my hello and chatted for a bit. No need to see her goods when we work together, right?
Today on Weds it got up to the high 50's and tonite they are saying the temps will drop 30-40degrees and when I wake up it'll be snowing with a chance of 4-8" thurs. Then sat/sund it'll be back in the high 40's. What a great state!
In light of the snow, I start my orientation at Denver's Children's Hospital. I'll tag along with the Newborn/Young Child team and attempt to learn a fraction of what they know. Peds is not my strength so I'm a bit worried. But they are super good and it will be cool to see. Stay tuned.
