Several firefighters were briefly trapped inside a burning apartment complex in Raleigh (N.C.) Saturday before they escaped unharmed. (RADIO AUDIO BELOW) The firefighters responded to a fire at a 12 unit, 3-story apartment building at 3211 Shore View Road, when the roof collapsed. Those firefighters were able to get out unharmed, and the fire was eventually controlled. Fire officers said that five of the units were heavily damaged.

Keep in mind that throughout the recording there is also traffic from other incidents, but since it’s from a scanner, they were recorded even though they were on different channels.
Some of the audio is also pretty fuzzy.
