after a loooooooooooooooooong day with some interesting moments, i passed the practical portion of the nremt-i 99 exam, so I just have to pass the written and I will be certified as a medic.
my third station was pediatric IO and it took me 3 attempts instead of the 2 max to get the IO which was weird because I was certain I was doing it right, then when i got it the inner trocar wouldnt come out, i had to pry it and use all of my strength to pull it out, so I mae a formal complaint about equipment failure and they nullified the results and had me redo the practical as a first attempt (apparently i would have passed if i didn't complain but im still glad i did so that others didnt have to use the faulty IO needle)
then we got our results, and i thought i failed static cardiology (we had a REALLY weird rhythm....) but i passed that and failed medication bolus admin of all things.......... (stupid mistake, forgot to clean the port before pushing the med)
the lady for retest i got everyone told me had failed everyone thus far but I got lucky and she passed me
so yay!! :)
