Wonder of wonders! I finally stopped putting it off and took my written test to ride out of class as an acting lieutenant. Oh, guess you might want to know how I did.....

LOL. I passed with the highest grade so far! Would have had a perfect score if I hadn't gone back and changed a few answers. But, 90% works for me. I really need to get over my persistent fear of failing. That night, I ended up floating out to one of the other stations and I had to ride up. Nothing eventful, one 'drama-alert' at the local super center. And I managed to break a vial of Morphine as I was signing for the narcotics when I got on the truck. Everything else went great.

Hope everyone had a great New Years. Mine was uneventful, I must be getting old. On the laptop front, Dell is sending me a new hard drive and DVD drive. I lost all my stuff, but, I should have my very own laptop again in about a week. Go warranty go!

Thanks! At least I got into the right seat on the truck when we got the one call we did have that night. There is no brake pedal on the officer's side, though.

Heather,

Congratulations. I am sure this is just one milestone along the path of your career. I wish you more success in the future. You can achieve anything you say "I CAN"
