thick white smoke is steam from attack,,thick black is fire feeding,,living,,light white is where fire want to go

I would say that the lite gray is the water being applied to the fire in the sector B and C.The brownish smoke is the wood products burning in the smoldering stage.The Black smoke is the burning of the open flames and shingles that are a petroleum product.

The brown smoke coming out of the B side second story window means that untreated wood is burning. The white and gray smoke is material in the house preheating getting ready to burn. The black smoke is coming from where the fire is burning and in direct contact with materials. This is definitely a structure fire and not just contents burning.
