I havent posted since wayyy back when, been really busy. Graduated in June 08', and since moved to baltimore. Was about to join Riviera Beach, but just got the news we are going to make another move. To South Carolina! Pretty big move. We visited Greenville and decided that was where we wanted to be. It is so beautiful there. AMAZING.
I have made the decision that I cannot give up North East F.C, cause its like a part of me. Ill stay as long as they keep me. I have family staying here and hope to make frequent trips.
Since I posted we have had quite alot of calls. One of the many being one of my friends. Marquee Queen drowned in the North East river. It was a very sad call for me and my friend Rich. But with the help of my fellow firefighters, I got through it. I havent gotten over it completly, but decided his memory is there to remind me of how much I have to apprecitate in my life, and how much I still have to live. So his memory lives in my heart.
Ive learned so much in these past 2 years of being a firefighter. My life has changed for the best, and looking back I would have never seen meself being where I am now. I hvae won second place at the Skills USA competition for firefighting, and that was an amaizing experience. I have gotten the MSFA rookie of the year award. I have built my charactor and personality up, and grown as a person. Im glad I had the people of m fire department by my side as I was doing it. So, thanks guys.
Alright, well thats good for now, I gotta go pack some more boxes. =\
