Well last night (nov.19) as i was responding to a stabbing in squad we where paged out for a vehicle fire at the same time, but i was already in the hills. got to the stabbing and the woman refused treatment. So filled out a run report and headed toward the vehicle fire. got there it was back in the mud pits. some guys drove the hell out of their truck got stuck and burnt it up. Ok so no biggie we have a lifted chevy just made for this. So getting back in there we got stuck, (somone forgot to lock the hubs in) and burried it in a rut. so me and chief took squad down to the entrance of the mud i unspoiled a 100 ft. of winch line and found out that hey not long enough. so we waited for another captain to get there with chains extended the winch line and pulled it right out.
