Miami House Fire Highlights The Unexpected

Miami firefighters were confronted with a not so typical entry situation in early August 2008. Firefighters arrived to a single family dwelling well off. First team on the attack was confronted with an entry door that was welded shut. Firefighters were able to utilize a partner saw to get into the dwelling turning an exterior attack into an interior attack.

Or maybe it was a vacant...from what I have read it seemed to be a two family home...one have was not rented and welded shut.

Why would it be welded shut? unless some one didnt want some one to get out.
