Complements of the season fellow firefighters.I am happy since I dicovered this site.Some of us have been talking with me.I am wondering why firefighters cannot be recognised in Nigeria just like in other countries.They are not even recognised even by the government.They are excluded from other paramilitary groupd in Nigeria.they are even the least paid workers in the country even after harzadous works they do.Can it be believed that up till today in nigeria that Firefighter are still been paid #10.00 (ten naira) as harzadous allowance?

Please I need advice on what to do to change the face of this job in my country.I know that I cant do it alone.This is a job I love so much.CAN FIREFIGHTERS EVER BE LIKE THOSE IN OTHER COUNTRIES? With what I am seeing on the net about Firefighters in other countries,I wonder when it will be.

Even at all these anomallies I still love the job,that I ve have to enter into 20 feet pit toilet to rescue a baby without any thing.I later came out safely but I know what I passed through.

Please I still need to improve myself in the areas of fire but it is not always possible here.Someone should tell me what to do.
