The 2009 Memorial Weekend will take place October 2-4, 2009 at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD. The NETC is home of the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Chapel, the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, and the Walk of Honor.

To date, 22 Honor Guard Units/Pipe Bands have registered for the Weekend. If an Honor Guard Unit or Pipe Band is interested in registering for the Memorial Weekend and has never been here or has not received any information about the Weekend, they can visit the webstie at weekend.firehero.org to obtain registration information. An alternative is to email Eric Nagle at enagle@firehero.org. The deadline for registration is September 15, 2009.
