MVA Rash

It seems in the last week that serious accidents have expoentially increased in Tioga County. People are dying or at least suffering serious injuries that require air transportation to a trauma facility. Good to keep our skills up, but bad for the population as a whole.

For the first time in recent memory we didn't turn a wheel today. The last call was EMS at 2350 on 8-13.

2007-08-13

As I was leaving this morning, why is that always the case?

MVA two cars one injury Shumway Hill Road.

Bad day for accidents. We responded to a boy hit by a car later in the afternoon. Flew him out.

Don't forget the EMS folks. With the nursing homes, elderly warehouses, and normal stupidity at an all time high, they have several times the calls that require an engine or truck.…

2007-08-12

1030 Wellsboro station 1, Medic 1, and Galeton station 10 dispatched for a two vehicle MVA with multiple entrapped, six total injuries. Chief 1 Command requested second alarm of dept 11 and 16 for ambulances.
