Just Another Statistic

Friday, December 19th, shortly after lunch...I started having severe chest pain, radiating down my left arm, and up into my jaw. I had been dealing with this for several months, and had been to my cardiologist about a month previous for a stress test, which came back normal. Lubbock Firefighters Awarded the Medal of Valor

The Lubbock Fire Department awarded two firefighters the Medal of Valor during a ceremony this afternoon.

Firefighters Kyle Allen and Jerry Castro were honored with the prestigious awards for their swift-water rescue efforts of a man during the flood of Sept. 11.
