Even though we are continuing the search for firefighter/paramedic Cameron Carter, there will be a "Celebration of his Life" on Saturday.

Kenai resident Cameron C. Carter was reported missing Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, when the LifeGuard helicopter he was working on as the flight paramedic was reported missing in Prince William Sound near Whittier. 8 days ago our Lifeguard helicopter went down. Onboard was one patient, the pilot, one nurse and one firefighter/paramedic (Cameron). The body of the nurse and the sliding door from the helicopter were found 3 days ago. Still missing, the pilot, the patient and Cameron. The search and rescue was called off yesterday due to continued bad weather and the fact that it has been 8 days since the incident. It is believed that the helicopter might be in water that could be in excess of 600 ft deep.…
