Monroe County Emergency Services is where I got my start, worked as a one man engine company FF/1st Responder for 3 years till I went to Henry Co. in Jan. of '08.
My Training:
Firefighter NPQ 1 and 2,NPQ Evaluator, Structural Fire Control, Pressurized Container, Clipboard Fireground Hydraulics, Practical Fireground Hydraulics, Building Construction, Georgia Fire Incident Reporting System, NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800, Haz-Mat Awareness, Haz-Mat Ops., EMT-I, PHTLS, EPC, ACLS, AMLS, Paramedic.
About Me:
Hmmm, been doing it for 5 years, shortly after being moved to part-time at MCES, was sent with a task force to St. Bernard Parrish in Louisiana to help with the search and rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina. Nothing real big has happened since then, just been keeping low, lol.
A friend of mine got me and another friend involved, loved it ever since. Plus I like helping people.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I like helping people.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Adequate Staffing (everywhere), Adequate Funding for Smaller Dept.'s (and some bigger ones...), Public knowledge of everything we are capable of (we're not all just hose jockey's...).

Okay I'm finally gettin' around to that October message you sent. Since then you've been in the paper and became famous...everyone thinks you made some good comments there.
Now that the good stuff is out of the way, hear this good...I hope I never again see you drive that engine thru a intersection with a cell phone stuck in your ear..I taught you better than that.
And I say that with luv because I don't want to bury you with that phone stuck in your ear.
Hey Brother,
I am glad to hear from you. I hope that things are going great for you. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to contact you. I have been extremely busy. The springs is going great, just really bust for me. But I love it. How are things in the county? i hope that all is well. Take care and I hope to see you soon.
