- my father is a medic first responder so my medic history goes back as long as i can remember. im working on my training now in EMT classes.
My Grandfather and father worked in the fire service. My father was a smoke jumper for the forest service in california, and then forester 1 of stanly county north carolina. i plan to be involved with the emergency management systems for as long as i am able.

thanx for the info guys really appreciate it got a good bit of info and now ive switched gears here a lil bit. after researching, I've determined that trying to write a paper on all the tools and new technologies in the fire service would require me to write about a 115 page paper instead of just a 15 theres simply too much to cover and lord knows i really dont want to leave things out and not do it justice. so, with that said, ive switched to focusing on PPE and how it is changed over the… Continue

hey guys, im doing a project on the technology used in the fire service over the past 50 years and i am in DESPERATE need of information. anything you can send me regarding past methods of firefighting, tools used, types of bunker gear anything would be helpful. turn me onto a good website or suggest some books anything to help me along this 15 pg paer is due MARCH 31 so please help me pass this course!!!
