About Me:: been with my department for 18 years.was a captain for 7 years and the city appointed me assistant chief 3 years ago.we have 3 front line attack pumpers,1 85'tower,1 heavy rescue,1 brush truck,air rescue boat,special ops trailer(trench rescue,building collapse),air trailer. 1 command unit,Just added an all terrain rescue vehicle.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Really like helping people. I love a challange.I love the closeness of the other members,its like one large family.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: The family of the department.Its like you have two families and its awesome

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Trying to keep personnel up to speed with all the state qualifications.Also trying to recruit good people that want to make a commitment.
