Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I practically grew up with the Detroit Fire Dept. I moved out of state and now I am back in Michigan. I thought this site might be a good way to track down some of my old friends. I have some pictures of my and the Detroit Fire Dept Repelling Team, but I cant get them to download, sorry.

Hi everyone. I am not a fire-fighter or EMS. But I had lots of Detroit Fire Dept friends in the late 70's and early 80's before I moved to Connecticut. So just trying to find old friends now that I am back in Michigan. I bartended at Cozy Corner Bar which was owned by firemen. I also flew over the Detroit River with the Repeling team and I had a gas oven kind of blow up on me lol so if anyone remembers me get in touch with me.
