I was on the Stamford Volunteer Fire Dept. for about 1 1/2 years. I joined the dept. after I turned 18 years old in 2004 and have been into firefighting ever since. I moved to Haskell and joined the Volunteer Fire Dept. in 2005. In 2009, I moved to Pampa and joined the Hoover Volunteer Fire Dept.

My Training:

As of november 1st 2008 I have earned my basic certification.

About Me:

Our fire dept. has work night every Monday night and on the 2nd Tuesday of each month we have a monthly meeting. We serve Roberts and Gray counties in the Texas Panhandle.

Day Job:

Right now outside of being on the volunteer fire dept. I work for Pampa Fire Extinguisher Service

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I became a volunteer firefighter when I turned 18 because I wanted to help serve my community.
