i'm 22 years old and have lived my whole life in bowling green ky. i have graduated college with an associates degree in surgical technology. i will soon be taking EMT classes to further my knowledge in the medical field.
i'm just an average down to earth girl who enjoys watching sports, going shopping, having fun, and living life to the fullest!
other than helping out the community that i live in, i love the medical field. i am i surgical tech and soon will be taking classes to be an EMT. i knew some friends who were on the department and got invited to look around. i figured it would be a good hobby and opportunity to learn more in the medical field..so i joined. within the first 3 months it was more than i had ever expected it to be...but i was loving every minute of it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
i get to drive a big red truck!!! just kidding...i love being on the fire dept because i know i am doing some good by helping out my community when they need it the most.

Melinda, welcome to the Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Good luck with the EMS and Fire field. Have fun and look around.
