About Me:
I started out in EMS as a kid at the age of 17 working for my dad's company as a dispatcher and doing maintenance. I later became an EMT-B, then I, then P. I have had numerous roles in EMS such as an EMT/I/P on an ambulance doing 911 and non-emergency, Maintenance Supervisor, & Rescue Technician. I am currently the Senior Paramedic on the largest oil and chemical industry construction project in the nation.
I started in Fire when I was 18. Most of it as a volunteer, but there was a time when I was working for a Carreer Department.
I became part of emergency Services for a couple of reasons. One is because it is fun and I love to help people. The other is because it was in blood and I just had no choice in the matter..........lol............My dad has been in it for forever.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping people and the addrenalin rush
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Biggest problem is places not maintaining equipment properly and not being able to keep decent EMTs on the streets
