Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I always had a passion for helping people. I was a funeral director for a number of years and had the opportunity to move to a city away from home where I got to know the city fire department well.

After a few failed attempts at big city departments, I joined our local combination department at the encouragement of my brother in law.

Loving the greatest job in the world and I haven't looked back.
