Rainy days

I know there are people getting a lot more rain than we are which means there are those people who do not pay attention to the low water crossings so I am sure we will get a couple of calls for water rescues. The weekend is almost here....Anyone taking those last minute vacations before school starts? Have a good day and be safe....

Just want to say thanks to those who added me to their list. I just completed my firefighter 1 this past week and I can't wait to take my 2. We don't get that many fires around here, most of the call…

Just want to say thanks to those who added me to their list. I just completed my firefighter 1 this past week and I can't wait to take my 2. We don't get that many fires around here, most of the calls are medical assist. I will eventually think about getting my EMT but for now I want to get as much of the fire stuff as I can.

When you work for private EMS contractors and in the "real world", contracts go away and bog companies lay people off, And that made me undesireable. They reposted the job for veterans only. In other words, someones buddy just got out of the service and needed a job. Still have another interview in East Central TX next Monday and we'll see. Still applying for lots of jobs.

Busy week with the kids and I wouldn't trade it although it will be nice when the oldest can drive himself in another year. Baseball try outs started this week at the high school and Dairy judging. I hope we win our basketball game this weekend-my youngest plays and I help coach.
