- I joined as a volunteer in august of 2001, i started taking as much trainig as possible and busted my ass to get where im at. i worked a normal job but i hated it. im now a paid firefighter/emt and wouldnt trade it for anyting in the world. even though im career now i will never forget where i came from, because if it wasnt for bedington vol. fire and rescue i wouldnt be where im at now!
