Hi everyone, I would like to announce the arrival of my beautiful son Tylar Blaize Jackson, He was born at 13:44 on Tues 02 October 2007. He weighed 7lbs 13.4oz and was 21in long. Ok so today the tones went out, dispatched out to a dumpster fire. I went out with one other person on the truck from station 2. We arrived first on scene, the driver hit the pump and i grabbed the bumper line and started putting water on the fire. Well here's my first blog. I have been aon the dept. for nearly two weeks now. so far i love it, no major calls yet. A vehicle fire, several false alarms, 1 call we didn't even ride, and 2 vehicle accidents. I really appreciate how the veterans on the dept. have really taken me in. One of them has even started teaching me rapid dress. something i had been practicing on my own. now he's showing me some easier ways to do things. THANKS!!!
