i was an explorer for 4 years then once i turned 18 i joined the department where i currently serve. i serve there with my dad and my boyfriend is chief of the explorers now. i am planning to attend community college to become an emt/paramedic. if you have any other questions just ask.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
my dad had joined our local volunteer fire dept. and we found out about the explorers. so i joined not knowing what it would be like, and well i love it. the adrenaline is one thing but just helping serve your community is even better.

my name is chelsea clayton. i was an explorer for 4 years then when my 18th birthday came around i joined the department as a volunteer firefighter. i just recently completed my basic firefighting class. and hopefully in november i will attend live burn...dont know yet for sure. this fall i will be attending columbia state community college for the EMT-IV program, then next year i will go back to get my paramedic. any questions or even suggestions or advice just msg me.
