My father is the chief of Pine Knoll Shores fire department, my uncle is a LT. at Camp Lejuene Fire Department. I graduated high school and had always like being around the fire department, so I started taking a few classes and my interest rose. So I finished my class and then took my EMT-B, I got on part-time at Emerald Isle, but left for a full time position at Nags Head Fire and Rescue. Then 2 months later my Asst. Chief from Emerald Isle called me and offered me a full time position with a bit more money and a better position, plus it was were I started so it was like family.
