About Me:

I'm Wes, if you dont know i'm a pretty laid back type of person, I started at Whiteford VFC in July of 2005 as a Cadet at the age of 16. in March and April of 06' I took FF1 to start my Vollie career. I just completed EMT this summer and already have been cleared as an aide. I currently work at heart to hart ambulance its pretty laid back. At Whiteford is where I come from and plan on being there awhile.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My Father, Two Uncles, and My Grandfather and my brother all were in the fire service. Its something I love to do and I enjoy helping people.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The crew at my station, and just doing the deed.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The urban sprawl and volunteer stations not being able to overcome the rapid population growth in some areas. And the extiction of some volunteer stations because of it.
