About Me:

I'm an eighteen year old firefighter/EMT who recently got hired by the department that I was a volunteer with since I was sixteen. I am currently in recruit school, though I graduate next month and will go in the station then.

I enjoy reading, photography, drawing, hunting, fishing, roadtrips, four-wheeling, and spending time in Nags Head. I spend a lot of time with my friends and family. I am also heavily involved in chuch, and chaperone the youth group.

I managed to complete one semester of college before I was hired. I will go back in the fall part-time to finish my associate degree, as well as to recieve my NREMT-Paramedic certification. My job only requires the minimum of NREMT-Intermediate within two years.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My grandfather was a retired captain from Petersburg, VA. I always wanted to be the one grandkid who followed in his footsteps. I also joined because I love helping people. It is what God has called me to do with my life.
