Well, first of all I think you boys get way to much on the job training when it comes to brush fires...You should be professionals with brush fires in Lawrence county...lol. For your area I would think some of the more important training needs for your dept. would be things like water movement and SCBA training. I don't know if you do extrication in your area or not but it always helps to keep up on that kind of stuff as well. There's so many things that you need to train on but my suggestion is train on the things that are state mandated and things that are specific to your coverage area. If I can answer any other questions just ask. Keep safe.
