Welcome Trey! It's always nice to meet a new Brother or Sister! It's been many moons ago, but my husband and I farmed and ran cattle in Jaroso, CO right on the State Line, played with Taos County and Costilla County, Ski Patrol at Red River,I also worked for Costilla County Nursing Service, Mountain Meadows Nursing Home in Monte Vista CO as a CNA then LPN. We left the San Luis Valley in 1999 to move back to where we were both raised, Strasburg CO, just east of Denver. We joined back up with our local Dept and spent the next 11 years as Lts, Capt, Asst Chief, Chief. We decided to jump ship in 2010, after 26 years for my husband, 24 years for me, and we haven't looked back since! I've got to say that having so much free time has been the biggest adjustment, LOL!
