Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When my father died and the ambulance missed our house, I later decided to may sure some other little boy did not have to endure that trauma again.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

seeing the faces of the little ones when they see a fire truck and get to play on one.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Low recognition except when the feces hits the oscillator. It's funny how the person making a 6 figure income will depend on the person making 30 k a year to save their rear when it comes crunch time. Granted we all know you don't get into this profession to make a fortune, but it should pay more than the doorman gets at a high price hotel.
