Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My dad was a member of Centerville Fire/ Rescue before I was born. I grew up with it. It only seemed natural to become a cadet when I was 16 and to join once I was 18. I decided to become an EMT when I was like 3 and was on my first wreck with my dad. I helped pick up trash and remember thinking I want to help like they did.

Helping others, seeing the relief on someones face when you show up, and having an extended family
