I served as full time chief of Lake Egypt Fire Protection District in southern Illinois, from 1997 until Dec of 2004. While there I became a paramedic, We operated an ALS ambulance.

Thanks for bringing me into your circle. It is great being retired, however I do get flashes of wanting to kick down doors and break windows. Lets stay intouch and keep posted on whats happening.
How are you Stan. Maybe one day we can go out for a beer and talk about firefightering well talk to you later are you never know and a fire call one day.
Stan nice to hear from you, just keep looking over the pages and it will come to you on what to do. I'm still trying to figure out things also. interesting fire dept background that you lived. I've been with the fire dept since 1975, been everything from leut. to chief, been ass't chief for 18 years now and training officer under the same acting chief. we are a vol. dept. in northwestern pennsylvania, covering 62 sq. miles. all rural area. my wife also belongs she has belonged since 1980. my son used to belong as a junior member before he enlisted in the military. be safe and stay warm.
